
The fund generally allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets, which includes any capital borrowed for investment purposes, to common stock issued by mid-sized corporations. These investments are valued at their market price upon acquisition. The fund's management defines a medium-sized company as one with a market capitalization that is greater than the smallest firm in the Russell Midcap® Index, but simultaneously less than three times the weighted average market capitalization of the companies comprising that index.
