The Hartford International Opportunities Fund Class R5 seeks to achieve substantial capital appreciation over an extended period. To accomplish this, the fund typically commits a minimum of 65% of its total assets to stocks issued by companies located outside the United States, which may include those not denominated in U.S. dollars. Additionally, the portfolio has the option to invest in businesses based in developing economies. The maximum allocation to these emerging markets will be the higher of either 25% of its net assets, or 10% more than the proportion that emerging markets represent in the MSCI All Country World (ACWI) ex USA Index.
