The AMG Yacktman Fund Class I primarily focuses its investments on the equity securities of US-based companies. However, it also has the flexibility to allocate capital to international stocks, including those from developing (emerging) economies, and various fixed-income instruments. A maximum of 30% of the fund's total assets can be dedicated to foreign equity investments. The types of equity holdings it may acquire range from ordinary shares (common stocks), preferred shares, and convertible preferred shares to American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). Additionally, up to one-fifth (20%) of its assets can be directed towards debt instruments. This category may include higher-risk, high-yield bonds (commonly known as 'junk bonds'), with the understanding that the total investment in all debt securities must not exceed this 20% cap.
